Notes | This Port is a blend which is composed of the traditional varieties of the Douro Region for red Ports, such as Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca, Tinta Roriz. In closed fermentation tanks. Fermentation was interrupted through the addition of grape brandy in order to preserve a degree of natural sweetness. “Smells like a handful of currants, with a good whack of spice. On the palate, it’s a very winey Port, with a big rush of fruit up front, backed up by a spicy, nutty finish. Well balanced and with good weight, a well-considered all-rounder”.
