This web site is owned and operated by Kahurangi Estate Distribution Ltd T/A Bring a Bottle, a New Zealand Business. In viewing and/or purchasing products on this website the customer agrees to the following terms and conditions of sale.

Pricing           

All prices shown are in New Zealand Dollars. We do not accept any other currencies. Your credit card issuer may apply charges for currency conversion. Bring a Bottle will not cover the cost of these charges or accept responsibility for any currency conversion charges.

GST  – Goods and Services Tax

All prices are New Zealand Dollars and are GST (Goods and Services Tax at 15%) inclusive.

Payment Information

Payment via Credit Card

We accept Visa, Mastercard. We accept payment by direct credit into our bank account. Please note, your credit card information is not disclosed to any other party. Items will be dispatched once full payment has been received. The name that would appear on cardholder / bank statements is Bring a Bottle.

Payment via Direct Credit

We accept payment via direct credit. Where a customer chooses direct credit as the payment option, bank details will be emailed to the registered email address of the purchaser. Once full payment for the order has been cleared in our bank account the order will be shipped.

Incorrect Bank Account Number

Where Bring a Bottle gives the customer the choice to pay by direct credit if the customer credits money to the incorrect bank account number, and the correct bank account number was provided to the customer by Bring a Bottle, then Bring a Bottle will not accept any responsibility for correcting payments and dispatch of goods will be delayed.

Online Security  

Bring a Bottle does not collect or store any credit card information. 

When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card number and/or social security number) on our registration or order forms, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL).

We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Delivery Information

Cost of Delivery

The cost of delivery is in addition to the price of the wine and shall be set at $10 per case of up to 12 bottles of wine.

Free Shipping

Orders of 2 cases or more will get free standard shipping to any New Zealand address.

Shipping Method

All orders dispatched to an address within New Zealand are delivered door to door and will require a signature upon delivery. 

Post Haste are our Couriers and you will have to sign for your order. You will need to give your authority to leave your order with No signature required on your delivery instructions. 

Track and Trace is standard for all orders dispatched. The Customer shall make all arrangements necessary to take delivery of the goods whenever they are tendered for delivery. 

In the event that the Customer is unable to take delivery of the goods as arranged then Bring a Bottle shall be entitled to charge a reasonable fee for redelivery. Delivery of goods to a third party nominated by the Customer is deemed to be delivered to the Customer for the purpose of this agreement. 

Bring a Bottle shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatever due to failure by Bring a Bottle to deliver the goods promptly or at all, where due to circumstances beyond the control of Bring a Bottle.

Target Delivery Times

All orders sent within New Zealand are targeted for delivery between 3-5 working days.

Bring a Bottle makes every effort to ensure that delivery timeframes are accurate. However, the delivery times stated assume that there are no unforeseen events. 

By placing your order, you agree not to hold Bring a Bottle liable for any loss or damage directly or indirectly arising out of or in connection with any delay or failure to deliver within the estimated time frame.

Title

Bring a Bottle and the Customer agree that ownership of the Goods shall not pass until the customer has paid the amount owing for the particular Goods. Receipt by Bring a Bottle of any form other than cash shall not be deemed payment until that form of payment has been honoured, cleared or recognised and until then Bring a Bottle ownership or rights in respect of the Goods shall continue.

Authority to Leave.      

Courier companies used by Bring a Bottle require you to sign for your order. You will need to give your authority to leave your order with No signature required on your delivery instructions.

Addressing    

If any orders are found to be misaddressed by Bring a Bottle then Bring a Bottle will be responsible for the re-delivery, replacement or refunding of the item(s). If the customer is found to have given an incorrect or insufficient address, then Bring a Bottle will not refund or resend the product and all responsibility will be borne by the customer.

Defects

The Customer shall inspect the Goods on delivery and shall within 30 days of delivery (time being of the essence) notify Bring a Bottle of any alleged defect, shortage of quantity, damage or failure to comply with the description. 

The Customer shall afford Bring a Bottle an opportunity to inspect the Goods with a reasonable time following delivery if the Customer believes the Goods are defective in any way. 

If the Customer shall fail to comply with these provisions the Goods shall be presumed to be free from any defect or damage. For defective Goods, which Bring a Bottle has agreed in writing that the Customer is entitled to reject, Bring a Bottle’s liability is limited to either (at Bring a Bottle’s discretion) replacing the Goods.

Returns & Refunds

Returns Policy     

Returns will only be accepted provided that:

  • The customer has complied with the Defects Provision; and
  • Bring a Bottle has agreed in writing to accept the return of the Goods; and
  • The Goods are returned at the Customer’s cost within 30 days of the delivery date; and
  • Bring a Bottle will not be liable for Goods which have not been stored or used in a proper manner;
  • The Goods are returned in the condition in which they were delivered and with all packaging, brochures and instruction material in as new condition as is reasonably possible in the circumstances. The original invoice/receipt must accompany the returned item.
  • We strongly advise all customers to check goods thoroughly upon delivery.

Receiving a Refund 

Once your Goods has been returned to us within the above stated time frame, unless otherwise authorised by the Directors of Bring a Bottle, we will begin to process your refund request. Each item will undergo a quality control check and once verified, your refund will be processed in the original payment format at your purchase was made within 30 days of the date of cancellation notice.

 All undamaged, correctly returned products will be credited to the original purchasers credit card or bank account, including GST, but excluding courier charges. You will be notified via email to the address listed on your account when the transaction has taken place. Please note that your bank institution may require additional days to process and post the transaction to your account once they have received the information from Bring a Bottle.

Only items that Bring a Bottle can confirm as new and unused will be eligible for a refund or exchange. If we receive your return in a condition which we feel is not fit for exchange or refund we shall get in touch with you to discuss the next steps. Bring a Bottle reserves the right to refuse a return or exchange for any item sent back in a condition where the item has been damaged.

Other Information

We endeavour to supply advertised vintages, quantities and pricing, but all orders are subject to availability and confirmation by Bring a Bottle.

If any product ordered is unavailable or incorrectly priced we will contact you and advise you of the correct price, vintage and/or recommend a suitable substitute.

New Zealand Law  

Any goods supplied or sold by Bring a Bottle, are sold under the conditions of New Zealand Law

The Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 prohibit Bring a Bottle to sell to persons under the age of 18 years. You will need to confirm and certify that you are of legal age to purchase alcohol from our website.

Where the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 apply, these terms will be read subject to the application of that Act, and in case of any conflict, the provisions of that Act will apply.

If the Customer is acquiring Goods for the purpose of a trade or business, the Customer acknowledges that the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 do not apply to the supply of Goods by Bring a Bottle to the Customer.
