| Notes | This single vineyard Malbec was a mixture of whole berry fermented for maximum flavour and colour extraction, and gently macerated fruit to add tannin and body. It was gently pumped over twice daily during fermentation. The wine was bottled after 10 months in 15% new American oak and 15% new French oak, the balance in older French oak, to allow optimum maturation. Sensory Evaluation; Colour: Deep dark and dense. Aroma: Bold with layers of blackberries, cherries, and a hint of chocolate. Palate: Mouth filling tannin structure with dark and juicy fruit flavour and a hint of spice. |
