Grapes were picked in the cool of the night and crushed immediately into stainless steel fermenters for 7-10 days. After pressing off skins, the wine was matured in a mix of older French and American oak hogsheads and stainless steel tanks for 12 months prior to blending and bottling. COLOUR A deep, vibrant crimson colour. NOSE/AROMA Classic warm climate Cabernet Sauvignon with rich blue fruits, blackcurrant and plum with some dusty cedar oak in the background. PALATE Long persistent and fine grained tannins intertwined with rich blue fruits and a long blackberry finish.
